A registered nutritional therapist working with people in and approaching midlife
Hello there! My name is Rebecca and I work with people in and
approaching midlife.

In my late 30s I started to notice that the usual things I’d done to take care of myself weren’t working anymore – I was putting weight on, feeling tired, and not coping with stresses quite as well as I used to.

I was studying for my qualification in Nutritional Therapy at the time and, the more I learnt, the more it became clear to me that there were lots of things that I could do to help myself.

As we get older, it’s so easy to consider unpleasant body changes, such as weight gain, mood disturbances, fatigue and food cravings, as unavoidable.
But, by spending some time to understand what might be causing them – for example hormonal imbalances in perimenopause and insulin resistance – we can then adapt what we’re doing to take care of ourselves.

I’m here to help you to investigate what’s going on beneath the surface – to find out why you’re feeling how you’re feeling.

Then we’ll develop a programme to tackle it, which will be personalised to your goals and life priorities. I’ll give you the accountability mechanisms that you need to keep motivated and on track to meet your goals, while understanding that no one is perfect all the time.

I’ll be delighted to talk to you to discuss how I can help you to feel yourself again.
I have a diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, UK, and am registered with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I also have a BSc in biological sciences from Edinburgh University.

I am based in Bristol, UK, but conduct UK-wide consultations online.
To offer you a holistic approach that meets your goals, I have partnerships with other health and wellbeing experts. Get in touch to chat about how our partners can help you

Personal trainer – Jo from JBS Fitness
My aim is to make people feel happier and more confident with themselves and the world around them. I empower people by sharing my knowledge and understanding of fitness and the human body as a whole. I love to make exercise fun and easy for everyone so it can become habitual and enjoyable, rather than a dreaded chore.
Alongside Rebecca's nutrition programme, we'll work together to develop a 'movement' programme that will give you fitness and wellness tools that will last a lifetime.
In line with your health goals identified with Rebecca, we'll get you moving in a way that fits into your life and that you enjoy. This could be getting more walking into your daily routine, introducing gentle yoga to improve your strength and flexibility, or helping you to execute exercises and stretches correctly to support existing exercises that you do.

I'll help to keep you motivated and accountable, supporting you to build new habits and untangle old ones - all while having fun!
