A registered nutritional therapist working with people in and approaching midlife

Hello, I’m Rebecca – a nutritional therapist supporting people in and approaching midlife.
In my late 30s, I noticed that the things I’d always done to look after myself weren’t working anymore. I was gaining weight, feeling tired and stressed, and finding it harder to bounce back.
At the time, I was studying for my qualification in Nutritional Therapy with The Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, and the more I learned, the more it became clear that these changes weren’t just part of getting older – and that there were real, workable ways that I could support my body better.
Now, I specialise in helping people to understand and manage the underlying drivers of midlife health changes – particularly around metabolism, blood sugar balance and hormonal shifts. Whether you’re dealing with stubborn weight gain, unpredictable energy, cravings or mood changes, there are ways to feel better without resorting to restriction or overwhelm.
My approach is food-first, science-informed and always realistic. I’ll help you get to the root of what’s going on beneath the surface and create a personalised plan that supports your goals and fits your life. We’ll work together at a pace that’s sustainable, with supportive check-ins and flexible strategies – because nobody gets it perfect all the time.
For me, it’s about more than quick fixes: it’s about supporting your midlife health so you can decide how you age – with more energy, confidence and ease in the years ahead.
Outside of work, I’m kept busy by my toddler – who’s unexpectedly introduced me to the joys of birdwatching! I also love getting out for walks, cooking simple but satisfying meals, and getting stuck into DIY or home decorating projects when I get the chance.
If you’re ready to work with your body – not against it – I’d love to help.
I have a diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, UK, and am registered with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I also have a BSc in biological sciences from Edinburgh University.
I am based in Bristol, UK, but conduct UK-wide consultations online.
