About the event
Perimenopause is the circa 10-year phase that happens before the menopause, when your period finally stops. It is a perfectly natural and healthy part of a womans’ life, and not something to be feared or dreaded, as so many women sadly do.
With a little knowledge and understanding, and some good nutrition and lifestyle habits, you can have a smooth journey through perimenopause, and you may even enjoy it!
It's never too early to start the preparations, which is why we encourage women aged 35 years upwards to attend. Even if you're not in this demographic and are interested in finding out more, you are of course very welcome to join.
During the workshop, Nutritional Therapist Rebecca Hills (Reconnect Health) and personal trainer Jo Bryan-Smith (JBS Fitness) will:
- Explain more about what perimenopause is and how it might affect you
- Describe what a healthy perimenopause looks like, and how you can achieve it
- Give you our top tips to implement today to get you prepared!
